Thursday's Material Wishlist Vol. 14
Instead of doing all my cleaning last night so I wouldn't be running around like a maniac this morning, I settled on my couch with the latest People Style Watch Magazine. This month's issue was a preview of what's going to be hot in the fall. While I'm not on board with some of the trends (bright eye shadow-really?), I did fall in love with clogs.
Let me start off with extending my apologies to Miss R, I know this post offends you. ;)
But I can't resist - Corso Como, Michael Kors, Coach, Tory!! I love summer but I can't wait for fall!

Hmm...
In preparation for this evening's excursion in NYC, I had quite a busy morning! My day started at 5:50 when I changed over the laundry, took Piper for a jog, cleaned the bathroom, packed my overnight bag, showered and dressed for a day in the office ... you get the point - I was busy! I was apparently so preoccupied that it took me 10 minutes of driving to work before I realized that I had forgotten something ...

Shopping Bag
Since Mr. K bought me my new bedding - did I tell you about my new bedding? See Michael Kors Phuket from a previous post, I digress - anyhow, since then, I have been on a bit of a decorating kick. I bought a new rug from Restoration Hardware to go beneath our dining set. I'm investigating a new area rug for our living room. I've selected a paint color for our new kitchen. This weekend I plan to check out Lowe's for a kitchen light fixture and new handles for the cabinets.
But then I got to work this morning, checked my yahoo mail and there was a message from Martin & Osa: New Items Added to Sale + Additional 50% Off! Who could resist? Well I sure couldn't! So here is what I bought - the Bo Peep Espadrille. Regularly $120, marked down to $59 with an additional 50% off. Really, they were quite a steal!

Thursday's Material Wishlist Vol. 13
Not since I first stepped foot inside the tangerine & magenta fabulousness of a Tory Burch boutique (estimate: 2007) have I been so influenced and inspired by a store as I was by Lulu Lemon. My "California gurl"friend Miss D lives out in San Francisco. While traveling a few weeks ago, she insisted that I was going to go into Lulu Lemon and was going to buy something. I had vowed never to spend $100 on yoga pants but guess what ... I did. (Well, maybe not $100 but $68 on a pair of crops - WHICH I have worn twice already to walk Piper).
Anyhow, where was I? Oh! Later that night I flew home from San Francisco on the red eye. Upon arriving home, I slept a few hours in my bed then promptly set up shop in front of my iMac to pay a visit to lululemon.com and make my wishlist.
So here it is. And what I find to be more inspirational than just the lifestyle that this store promotes and exudes is the extracurriculars that are offered! One local store transforms into a yoga studio every Sunday morning and offers a free yoga class. Another local store has a running club on Wednesday evenings. The mantra on Lululemon.com is to sweat once a day ...
