Marc Jacobs

I don't claim to be any kind of fashion guru or anything but I know what I like and today, I REALLY liked the Marc Jacobs boutique at Gilt.com. Again, I am not the authority on this so I have no clue if these are current or outdated "fashions" but I loved them all.

Here are my top picks:

Red & turquoise. I don't even care what the pieces are, I like this color combination.
Navy. Silk. Blouse. THREE things I love all put together.
A spring time twist on the sweater dress.

BOWS!

A mix of patterns put together and doesn't look messy.

This reminds me of a top that is currently on sale at j.crew but the lace stripes are a single color. This is WAY more fun.

The style of this dress really appealed to me. The close up shot revealed that the pattern on it is actually a little "marc jacobs" logo. Super cute.

Could've sworn I tried this one on in a department store a while back (possibly Century21) but didn't pull the trigger. And here it is again!

So cute and comfy. This is the kind of thing I don't buy because I would live in it.

This top seems to be an incredibly versatile piece - the kind of thing you could wear to work and feel confident in, then wear out after work and not feel frumptastic.

Just. Love.

This is so cute. I love the color and the swiss dots. It doesn't have the same wearability as the pink one pictured above, but is still pretty spectacular.

A little apron dress - cuuuute!

And last but not least - my true love. Wrap. Ruffles.

Shoe Lust

Two days ago I treated myself to a new pair of Tory Burch Thora flip flops in the pewter color. My gold pair from two years ago are still barely alive but it was time to update them, for sure.

With an upcoming trip to Hawaii (ALOHA!), I am in full swing for spring. I came across the wedges pictured below at Lord & Taylor about a month ago and have been lusting after them ever since. I know a wedge is not what I need since I am not vertically challenged but who doesn't like to tower over people?

Meet .... KORS Michael Kors Vivan. *sigh*

Shoe Lust

Yesterday I received an email from Neiman Marcus notifying me of new arrivals for spring flats! It is not even mid-February here in New England but the winter has been so long, I am lusting for spring.

Why not start off with an old standby? The Tory Burch Revas. Neiman Marcus featured them in silver and I could envision this color being quite versatile.
OK how about the Tory Burch espadrilles too, while we're at it? (Of course I already own multiple pairs of Revas and the espadrilles from last year as well but what's a few more pairs?)
To DIE for. Stuart Weitzman glitter elastic flats. OMG heart them!

The Frye woven skimmer. They come in a gunmetal color which is the best color, by far.

I think these ones were from Elie Tahari. I had tried on a pair of lace platform pumps at Aldo and ever since, have been lusting for lace shoes.

These ones might be Elie Tahari also - super cute gold drivers. The thing I love about metallics - they are sooo versatile!
