Heaven knows I'm never one to resist a good sale! It's been MONTHS since Tory Burch had a private sale so this was my perfect opportunity. I finally pulled the trigger and got the Victor wedges I blogged months ago. Also threw some pewter colored flats into my cart as well. I plan to save these for fall.

The North Face

When it comes to weekends, I am a creature of habit. This winter, I rocked the same animal print cardigan, jeans and flats every single weekend. I have moved on and am currently donning a green North Face fleece with an ivory North Face vest and either yoga pants or running crops and sneakers. When I found the Avery fleece from the North Face, I knew that I must own it and it would become my weekend stand-by. I ordered it from EMS.com for in-store pick up and trekked up there on my lunch break today to pick it up. Boy am I glad I didn't have it shipped to the house! I was sorely disappointed in this garment. The medium was too big and sloppy all over. The bottom hem hit right at the widest part of my hips and made me look short and wide. Ick! The small fit much better but was a little snug around the hips and certainly wasn't what I had in mind for something loungy to spend the weekends in. Overall grade on this one C-

ABS Dress

When the previews for "Easy A" were on TV 24/7 back in the fall, I definitely noticed Emma Stone as a beautiful actress I hadn't seen before. It wasn't until she wore this fabulous melon colored Calvin Klein dress to the 2011 Golden Globes and donned platinum blonde hair that I thought she was a star! Ever since, I have set my mind on having a similar style dress. So simple and chic!
Here is a little gem I found on ideeli Sunday night. It is turquoise (LOVE!) and similar style to Emma's except shorter and doesn't have an open back. Miss R helped me pick out a black & white striped blazer from TJ Maxx this weekend and I was thinking of maybe pairing it with this dress and some gold accessories until it gets warm enough to go without a jacket. Oh, dress was only $59! Score!

Versatile large pearl and channel set necklace. This could probably do double duty between work and after work.
Now here we have a strictly personal use garment! Tiered chambray mini skirt. I am totally picturing it with a red & white striped tee and espadrilles. Ahh warm weather!!

Shopping Bag

Aloha! Totally revived after my business trip/vacation to Hawaii. I must admit, the weather wasn't the best but I did manage to get a slight suntan. Other than that, I subjected Mr. K to endless shopping trips on the strip at Waikiki and at the Ala Moana Mall. In addition to the Coach Boyfriend Watch and Chanel 5171 Bow Sunglasses (both pictured below), I also finally purchased the Kors Vivan wedge (previously blogged).

Other than that, I am about done shopping for myself. On to redecoring my living room. Before and after photos coming soon!
